First Descents Takes on TRR in 2019
In 2019, First Descents became the official charity partner of the TransRockies run. We had 8 FD runners compete in the 6-day, 120 mile race across the Colorado rockies raising $38,000 for First Descents. We tagged along to capture all the fun! The TransRockies race perfectly captures the Out Living It spirit and we were excited to get a first hand look.

Getting Out There with Ryan Van Duzer at TRR
The TransRockies is a 6 day stage race in the mountains of Colorado from Buena Vista to Beaver Creek. It covers 120 miles, and includes 20k feet of vertical gain. In this episode, we run up and over the legendary Hope Pass near Leadville, and finish at beautiful Twin Lakes. Stage 3 is a 25 mile run to historic Camp Hale, birthplace of the 10th Mountain Division. My hips are better, but everything else hurts. Onward!
2018 Highlights with Trail and Ultrarunning
The Trans Rockies Run is a 6 day stage race covering 120 miles through the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Scott Wesemann and Craig Lloyd filmed the first couple days of running. They went on to take 3rd overall in the Team Men's Open category.
